Uncle Aaron’s  Bait & Tackle Shack opened in 2012 as a small, home-operated business supporting the local fishing community.  Uncle Aaron has been providing an inventory that catered to the needs of his customers.  Folks who fish the West Branch of the Farmington River, Colebrook Reservoir, Hog Back Damn, Hartland Pond, to name a few have been able to stop by and get their bait and tackle along with current info on various stocking updates, DEEP initiatives and of course always a  “fishing” story or two.  Uncle Aaron’s has supported the annual Riverton Fishing Derby and the Fisherman’s Flea markets (2018-19) and is a member of the Riverton Merchant’s Association, partnering on several village events over the past few years  Uncle Aaron continues to be passionate about the thriving west branch of the Farmington River.

Uncle Aaron is starting a new chapter of fishing stories at his family camp in Maine.  As of now the bait & tackle is closing. We’re pleased to announce the Riverton General Store will now carry bait & tackle this spring. etc

For further information, you can contact the Riverton General Store at 860-379-0811.

Uncle Aaron thanks all his customers for making the business such a great personal success!
